Brave New Brum projects and events

As one of the lead artists and co - organisers I had a challenging and varied role in the project.They included the following:

  • Creating and implimenting participatory workshops in non destructive graffiti, psychogeographic drifting, feral food hunting, urban climbing, open source creative design, DIY alternative tourist guide creation, permaculture techniques, people led velcro mapping, fanzine production, and post project art object book design
  • Designing events graphics and website materials
  • Leading workshops in creative mapping both onscreen and offscreen
  • Designing and maintaining caravan onboard LAN website
  • Ensuring events happened on time and on budget
  • Theoretical and practical thinking
  • Facilitating involvment with other artists
  • Rigging and maintainence of mobile media lab
  • Post event documentation
  • Marketing and publicity
  • Project proposal planning and writing
